Alhough more of a fun arts and crafts activity for some, candle making can turn into a very profitable business for others. It is an opportunity to create some fantastic designs, experiment with different scents and perfumes that help to soothe and relax us in our homes.
Candle making involves getting the supplies you need. You can use parrafin wax, beeswax or even soy wax to make you candles. You will need a wick, which is usually made from cotton and braided to the width that you need. The size of the flame is dependent on the size of the wick so remember this when designing your candle.
If you are using scents, or dyes, you will need to get these all in place before you start. You will need a mold, thermometer and a melting pot and that should be all the kit that you need.
